How To Be More Like Nature In 3 Simple Steps

Happy to announce the new name of my Blog Post, “Tuesdays Treasures” This is when I take the time to reach into the Wellbeing Treasure Chest and reach out for a life-transforming treasure for you.  This weeks treasure is Deepak Chopra’s’ The Law Of Least Effort. Get ready to learn from nature and live life in harmony.

“Nature’s intelligence functions with effortless ease…with carefreeness, harmony, and love.  And when we harness the forces of harmony, joy, and love, we create success and good fortune with effortless ease.” Deepak Chopra

I struggled with defensiveness.  I use to get defensive with everything and everyone.  I soon learned that wasting my energy on being defensive, didn’t allow me to feel the harmony of letting things be.  I took the time to study the Law of Least Effort, and I took it upon myself to shift from being in a state of resistance to allowing the universe to flow within me.  I have to admit, it wasn’t easy, but I learned that the universe has everything under control and all I have to do is follow the laws of this universe.  The opposite of resistance is the feeling of joy and freedom.

Stop defending your point of view; it’s a waste of time and energy.  Instead, take the time to learn as much as you can to master the Law of Least Effort.  Study, practice and let it be.  Be like nature and witness the Grass as it Grows.  Below you will find three simple steps to help you get started.

How many times do you complain about how something turned out? Well, it’s time to accept things how they unfold.  When you take the time to fully understand that what is happening now is a direct result of your past thoughts, actions, and desires.  You will soon learn to accept things as they are.  Let go, and allow the universe to do its thing.  Remember, the whole universe is as it should be.  Stop the struggle and feel the love that surrounds you.  Today, practice Acceptance.

Be responsible for everything that is going on around you.  Don’t blame anyone for your situation, including yourself.  Take the opportunity that life is giving you and learn the lesson.  If you quietly look at all of your situations, you will find it.  Today be responsible.

There is no need to defend your point of view.  Don’t you feel the struggle when you try to explain yourself? It’s useless, it’s tiring, and it’s a waste of energy.  Tell yourself today, “ I am not going to get defensive, and I will remain open to all points of view.” Take a deep breath, close your eyes and release.

In summary, what a great Treasure! Let it simmer and allow yourself to keep growing.  Until next week, enjoy the rest of your week.  Check out Deepak Chopra’s Seven Spiritual Laws of Success!

How To Master Your True Potential Today

“The source of all creation is pure consciousness…pure potentiality seeking expression from the unmanifest to the manifest.  And when we realize that our true Self is one of pure potentiality, we align with the power that manifests everything in the universe.” Deepak Chopra

Another week of Tuesdays Treasures.  I am bringing you this month more of the Seven Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra.  A book review like no other, Digging deep into the core of the meaning and sharing a wealth of information.

We are living a time of pure Chaos.  More than ever I feel as if my voice does matter. This month I pulled out of my Treasure Chest the book, Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, filled with teachings that serve as a reminder to all of us.  I am calling it a Book Review that will touch your soul.

What is your daily routine? Wake up in the morning, rush to get to work or school? Wait for the afternoon to rush back and start the chaos at home, eat a late dinner, unwind and go to bed to start all over again tomorrow.  That was a brief description of many.  It’s easy for me to tell you to slow down, read more, meditate and take care of your soul.  But, with so much going on I understand your struggle.  And how difficult it may be.  All I can ask of you is to try.

The spiritual law of pure potentiality speaks about your potential, but to put it into practice you must understand the importance of the source of your potential.  Is it coming from your Self or Objects, material things?  To tap into Pure Joy, Knowledge, Infinite Silence, Perfect Balance, Invincibility, Simplicity or Bliss, you have to learn how to work with your true self.  Below I will briefly touch on the three ways to help you get started, but it takes work and commitment.  This simple review is an introduction to the best decision you can make to start living a life of pure potential.

1. Take the time each day to be silent

How hard is it to be quiet?  Start with the bare minimum, five minutes, ten minutes but get started.  The reason to strive for silence is that when you are silent you will hear your inner guide and that is pure consciousness.  Do it in the mornings and the evenings before you go to bed.  Because by mastering being silent, whenever you are in the midst of movement and activity, you will learn how to carry your stillness within you.  Then the chaos around you will be overshadowed, and you can access your creativity.

2. Go out in nature

Observe the stillness and the wonder that life teaches us.  Enjoy every living thing.  Sit quietly and watch a sunset, if you live near the ocean enjoy the crashing sound of the waves, or just simply smell the scent of a flower.  Getting in touch with nature allows you to tap into your pure potential.

3. Do not judge

Judging is a hard topic to master because even if you are pointing out the good in people, you are still judging.  Allow everyone to be who they are; there is no room to be judgemental.  It doesn’t matter if they are right or wrong, promise yourself that starting today you will not judge.

What is your real potential? Only you will know the answer. Remember, that the more tuned in you are to the universe, the more creative you will be.  Become fearless, free and inspired.  Be silent, and it will come to you.

I encourage you to read the book, “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success.”

How To Gut Out Old Habits By Renovating Your Mind

Today’s treasure is renovation.  What comes to mind when you think of the word renovation? Gutting out, tearing down, building new layers, tossing out, construction and new patterns.  Today, I will give you the opportunity to think of your mind as a construction zone.

When I think of the word renovation, I imagine a small house being gutted out and removing all of the old to bring in the new.  With renovation you have hard work, and a dusty mess, but at the end, you will have new walls, fresh paint, new fixtures and a beautiful, clean home.  Why not do the same with your mind?

Let’s take all of the old memories, negative thoughts, and worry and toss them out.  I know, it’s easier said than done but there is a way to bring everything back to zero and start fresh.

Your body is your house; your thoughts are your fixtures let’s gut them out and clear them one by one.  But first, you must have a vision of how your new home is going to look and feel.

Gut out – Start with gutting out old habits.  What habit do you want to get rid of first?  Start with that one. Then keep removing to maintain the momentum.

Tear Down – It’s time to tear down memories that don’t serve you, time to make room for new and better memories.

Toss out – After gutting everything out, there is a cloud of dust everywhere, the old is surfacing, and it is a perfect time to get rid of the pain, the guilt, sorrow and everything that is causing discomfort.

Build new layers – Now is time to create new memories, new habits and bring back the great feeling of love into your heart.  Bring a great big smile on your face; it’s time to be happy again.

New patterns – Old ways are completely gone.  Your new home is ready for a new life, make the best of it and enjoy it with pure pleasure.  Enjoy yourself, your family, your friends, and your work.

To keep your mind  renovated remember these three things:

Make better choices

Make time

Maintain the desire burning

In summary, it’s fun to use metaphors to improve our lives.  I wanted to make it fun, but always remember the importance of keeping your mind clean and clear.  Remove unwanted thoughts and bring in new ones to keep you healthy.  Have a fantastic day.

Until next week,

3 Tips on How to Spend Your Day To Be More Productive

How are you spending your day?  I’ve heard this question one too many times in my life.  However, the question does have a valid point.  We all want to be more productive, but we seem to wonder and be all over the place when in reality we need to focus on our tasks at hand.

I started thinking about this question when a former employer kept on asking this question.  I have a tendency to analyze situations and learn from them.  I noticed when I evaluated my tasks I wasn’t doing what made me happy.  And a secret I learned was that to be productive, find that thing that makes you happy.  And also, I was multi-tasking, so I thought, and kept on doing things that didn’t bring me to my desired outcome.  I was spinning my wheels.

How do you value what you are doing? Yes in the corporate world some tasks are tedious.  I am aware of that, however always find a reason on why you need to get the job done and focus on the value that it brings to the table.  It is so important to know the Pareto Principle 80/20 rule.  I’m sure you’ve heard of it before that 80 percent of the value of your outcome comes from 20 percent from the activity you put into it.  I like to keep things as simple as possible, and I came up with three tips to help you be more productive throughout your day.

It’s fun to see how by focusing on learning new ways, your mind helps with the change.  You are probably doing these three tips already, or you have found other ways to improve on being more productive, and I would love to hear about it just comment below and share it with me.  I came up with these tips by listening to successful people like Brian Tracy, Gary Vaynerchuck, and Evan Carmichael just to name a few.  They all had similar habits that when I tried them and combined what worked for me, it made a world of difference.  My tips are Wake up earlier, Do what matters and Be intentional.

  1. Wake Up Earlier

How many times have you heard this? Yes, it works.  Ask yourself, what do you get done before breakfast?  Another secret to this tip is that if you start the night before, waking up earlier allows you to jump right into the task at hand and you don’t have to waste precious time planning.  We can lose a lot of leverage by over planning.  So, keep that in mind.  Always look into the task and ask yourself the most important question of all, and that is what value does this task have?  Because if it doesn’t have value, stop.  Don’t do it.  But only you will know the real value.  Trust me when I say, that waking up earlier gives you a head start to working smart and not hard.

  1. Do What Matters

Yes.  Are you learning something new?  Even if it’s something that you have never done before, but it will bring you closer to that sale, do it.  Learn from it, make it happen.  This step is different for everyone.  What is your goal at hand? Then focus on that, and make decisions that bring you closer to your goal, because time is precious and by wasting it in on things that don’t matter will only frustrate you.  Remember, keep it simple and work with what will bring you to your next level, whatever that may be.

  1. Be Intentional

Why are you doing it?  That is the question that takes you to your intention.  Be intentional, focus on one task at a time.  Research show that there is no such thing as multitasking.  If you want to do something right and have an excellent outcome, focus on one task at a time.  I know what you are probably saying, but I have to multitask, I have so much I need to get done.  Just evaluate and prioritize, do that one thing that matters first.  Focus on that task and move to the next as soon as you have completed it.  Having good time management helps, keep track of how you are spending your day for the next seven days and analyze what you are doing to improve your productivity.

Yes there is one more tip that I can share that also helps me a great deal.  And that is to break your tasks into small chunks and make them more manageable.  I recommend putting this on your list.

In summary,  my goal is to keep on sharing what works for me.  I honestly wake up earlier, plan the night before,  and spend my time doing what matters, and by being intentional, I know that what I’m doing is getting my full attention.  Try it.

3 Excellent Reasons Why It’s Important to Take Action

That’s an excellent idea.  We have all been there when we have a eureka moment and fall in love with an idea to do something.  To open up a business, create a product or simply take a long vacation.  Without the work that goes along with the planning, the ideas will never come to life.

As far back as I can remember, I’ve had eureka moments all the time.  I am known for having great ideas, but I would think, plan and somehow will let the project simmer and it will never come to life.  But, I quickly learned that hard work would allow those ideas to flourish into reality.  When I decided that I wanted to blog, it wasn’t until I took charge and worked hard, that it became a reality.

Have you ever had an idea that moved you?  But, it stayed in the planning mode. I am positive that you have.  It takes hard work to take an idea from the planning stage to the execution stage.  The best feeling in the world is to take action and see your creation come to life.  Whether it’s business, a book that you wrote or a trip.  Go and get the guts and the power to make things happen.  It’s important to know that taking action helps you in many ways.  Not only will your project come to life, but you will also experience positive outcomes as you continue to work and make things happen, you will see results. I have found that taking action allows you to keep moving forward, uncovers your hidden strengths and lastly helps you achieve and reach your goals.

  1. Keeps You Moving Forward

All you need is to start.  Keep that momentum going and don’t stop.  It’s hard when you are trying something new, and you feel lost and confused.  Don’t get discouraged because by moving forward with your plan and working towards your goal, it will get you help you get closer. The power is in the momentum.  Don’t let it die.  Here is a Video from Evan Carmichael 5 Ways to Stay INSPIRED and KEEP GOING – #BelieveLife

  1. Uncovers Your Hidden Strengths

How many times have you tried something new and found out that you are magnificent at it?  Like, playing tennis or dancing or writing.  Whatever it may be, by working hard and taking action you will undoubtedly uncover some hidden strengths.  Once you identify that power, capitalize on it and push harder than before.  It feels great to be good and to learn new skills that bring you closer to your goals.

  1. Achieve Your Goals

You’ve moved forward, uncovered hidden strengths now you need to keep pushing because what’s next is the outcome.  To achieve your aim, that’s not the finish line, but it feels great to bring an idea to an achievement simply by working hard and taking action. The business is up and running, your product has come to life, and the vacation of your dreams has arrived, simply by taking action and living with stride.

In summary, there you have it, that’s what I’ve learned by taking action.  Let it do the same for you.  Go for it, take action today.
